Fire brigade training in Bruce

The ACT Fire Brigade in conjunction with the Hindmarsh group will conduct a vertical rescue training exercise today, as part of a work safety education campaign.

The exercise will begin at 1pm till 3pm on Baudinette Cct, Bruce.

Specialist appliances from the ACT Fire Brigade will be on scene including the Bronto Skylift Hydraulic platform, the Remote Area and Vertical Rescue 4-W-D and the off-road rescue 4-W-D.

Firefighters will demonstrate their vertical rescue technique from heights.
