Fire contained to room of origin with fire damage also to roof space. Extensive heat and smoke damage to remainder of house.
No damage to neighbouring property.
House unoccupied at time of fire.
Three fire pumpers on scene with the Hazardous Materials Unit, the Breathing Apparatus Van and a Command vehicle.

Estimated damage $200,000.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.

ACT Policing Criminal Investigations Team is investigating a fire at a four-bedroom house in Chisholm which occurred earlier today (Sunday, 8 April).
About 7.51 am police were called to a house on Davice Place, Chisholm, where ACT Fire and Rescue were extinguishing a fire that started inside the house.
The residents, who were not home at the time, have been notified.
AFP Forensic services are attending the scene and conducting an examination. Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
