To describe it as an apartment is a bit of a stretch. Basically it’s an old rundown house on an overgrown block of land that’s been (badly) divided into separate living spaces.

Over the past few years it’s been home to foreign building site workers, students and others who can’t find anywhere else to rent.

There’s even a broken down caravan in the front yard to house the overflow.

I’m surprised it hasn’t come to grief before now, and it’s nothing short of a miracle that no one was killed.
