“Approx 250 people evacuated as a precaution as crews clear heavy smoke logging.”
Well, smoke logging is almost as dangerous as forestry logging so I’m not surprised. How they harvest the smoke is still a mystery to me as it seems to elude most of our common harvesting methods thus far. Smoke trees are quite fragile and break with minimal interference, hence the difficulty in containing them. We have however prepared methods to prevent smoke, such as child care centers, gaming areas, eating venues etc. Perhaps establishing the premises as one of these may have prevented the need for an emergency?

I don’t know who is writing these things at ESA lately but the damn appliance is a Bronto SKYLIFT Aerial Platform. Sheesh, you would think that at least they could get the damn name right dammit!!!

Skylight?? FFS!!!
