Fisher burn

The ACT Rural Fire Service today will conduct a hazard reduction burn in parkland near Namatjira Drive in Fisher.

The burn will commence at 11am and continue until around 5pm.

Three heavy tankers, one medium tankers, one light unit, three command vehicles and 25 personnel will conduct the burn covering a total area of approx six hectares in size.

The purpose of the burn is to remove a fuel hazard.

The ACT Handy Map grid reference for the burn is K14.
