The SMH is reporting that two vehicles have collided near Braidwood. A female has been airlifted to Canberra hospital while the other four people from the other vehicle have been ferried by ambulance.
It really is a cnut of a road. Needs to be dual carriageway.
I avoid the south coast for that road and head to W’Gong and the shoalhaven where the roads are much better and takes around the same amount of time.
Agreed Nyssa. Most people traveling that road from Canberra and surrounds would surely be going for a break or holiday anyway, so you’d really have to wonder what the desperate rush was.
VY I know what you are talking about. I’ve had a car overtake me on a bend – not the smartest thing to do, so I just slowed down. My kids are more important than getting to the Bay in record time.
When I go down there on Friday, I hope there are more coppers than the usual zero – seeing as it is the last weekend of the NSW School holidays.
Hopefully these people will be ok. I drive that road semi-regularly and see a lot of stupid behaviour, especially around overtaking.
What should we call Canberra’s newest Light Rail Vehicle?
