Flame of the week - The Beaudean Family Delivers

We waited, and we waited, and they’ve delivered.

New commenter Dell has, had a spray in defence of the Beaudeans, A family grouping accused of killing a man who was walking home from the pub.

“For everyone in here that thinks that because they have read something it must be true.
You all should be ashamed of yourselves, I am appalled and disgusted in the majority of you., put yourself in their shoes. I have a feeling that you all are from another country because in Australia we are meant to believe in, and promote the aphorism ‘Innocent until proving guilty’, That is what makes Australia the ‘free’ country it is today, I would be disgusted to call myself an Australian if it means associating myself with heartless, gutless people such as yourselves. Where is the compassion and empathy??

The Beaudean family are lovely, hardworking people (Teneeka especially).
All she ever wanted was to bring this child into a safe and loving world, now she is stranded in a situation she has no control over and getting slapped in the face with the thought of having her baby taken away from her. How would you feel if that was you?

The sentence structure and spelling is a little too well done to be a top notch flame. But there are some good little lapses, and what it lacks through coherence it delivers in spades on heat.

A top effort I say. But nothing less than was expected.

Thank you p1. I was worried that I was the only Qbnite not in shock.

As the poster claimed “some people are normal”, that might make you one of them?

…we were all in shock when we all found out who it was.

Queanbeyan has a population of something like 36,000. So surely only a small fraction of the population had ever met any of the people in question, let alone knew them well.

Yeah p1, but when the people who knew them heard about the “bogan name post” on RA they came in for a look.
Actually it caused quite a stir amongst Ben and Taneekas friends.

No matter, they all face court tomorrow (Goulburn), so we will see how they plead and if any get bail.

Ben is in jail, fuck wat more do u want.

Queanbeyan is a queer place. When you live here you get to see the fights and arguments.

Queanbeyan is not a queer place, some people are normal its jus the fucked up ones that make this town look stupid. but yes we do see alot of fights and arguments and this is wat it leads to. Queanbeyan would rather use there fists then there heads but thats the way they got brought up. We arent bad people and queanbeyan is a livable place thats y we were all in shock when we all found out who it was.

Wow… I’m not sure what to make of this. A late night on the drink sitting in front of the PC perhaps. Either way, these posts do neither the poster or the city any good.

At least we know now that Qbn is both a queer place and not a queer place. What a complex town!

You can be pretty sure of lots of things, but it doesn’t necessarily make them true.

sorry BerraBoy68 – I do have a life outside of this site!

Yea, but to come back 46 days later seems a tad obsessive., and please call me ‘Berra’ or just plain old ’68’. I feel like we’re made a connection now…

It’s so improbable as to be practically impossible.

I find that hard to believe.

There’s life outside this site?

sorry BerraBoy68 – I do have a life outside of this site!

I’m going to wait 47 days and write ‘No’ ….

*heh heh heh*

Shiny Flu – Not once did i mention anything about ones race – maybe you should read the text before pulling out that card.

Wow, does it normally take around 46 days to get the last word in on a thread?

The unexamined life is not worth living; so that’s alright.

Queanbeyan is a queer place. When you live here you get to see the fights and arguments.
Especially the ones that go on and on around the streets or outside pubs.
That’s is why most of the main street has video surviellance and so do the pubs.
So do the taxi’s, and alot of people get in a taxi drunk and going off about stuff forgetting all about the driver or the fact they may be recorded.

Not much goes unnoticed.

Oh dear….. JB’s totally right ‘online’, silence would really be your best option.

I don’t think you’re doing the Beaudean’s any favours “online”. You’d be well advised to wait for the court hearings.

Thanks SadMushroom.

I personally new Danny for a long time, and he was the one that was trying to put restraining orders on the Beaudean Family. 15 years is a long time to hold a grudge.

I have also known the Beaudean family for a long time, and i believe they should get every bit of punishment for what they did. It takes a real strong man to attack a defensless man walking home, and it takes a real strong woman to cover up the facts.

To all you people out there sitting in your nice little holes, maybe you should stop presuming things and making excuses as to why they killed a lovely man. the fact is, is that they did it and now they should pay the price.

Nice man????? If he was a nice man they wouldn’t have had a reason to KILL him… Don’t you think?? And drug money? WHOA bit of a stretch don’t you think?

I only believe in diplomatic marriage when both attaches are hot.

For some reason, that never gets old. Seriously!

I only believe in diplomatic marriage when both attaches are hot.

we have no need for a judge or jury, or in fact any kind of police or legal system at all

Then we can all act like diplomats 🙂

Right, now that’s sorted out we have no need for a judge or jury, or in fact any kind of police or legal system at all. Next…

All I will say at this time is that Teneeka was apparently petrified of Danny Ralph and would try and avoid him at all costs. Apparently he dated Teneeka’s mother for sometime and apparently, he was abusive to all concerned to some extent.

Let me ask you all, what would you do if someone violently/sexually abused your son/daughter/mother or any other family member?

Just putting it out there…

Taneeka’s mum did date Danny but about 15 years ago.
There’s 15years that at any time they could have gone to the police or made reports but they didn’t.
Taneeka also didn’t avoid Danny too much as she often went to the pub where he worked.

Danny on the other hand had been to the police a few times reporting being abused and threatened.
Word around here is the attack/murder was more due to drug money owed than anything else.

Poptop

SOLIPSISTIC, are you suggesting some level of involvement by the Beaudean Family in this whole sorry affair?

That’s not cool!

How would I be suggesting involvement by the Beaudean family even if the “word of mouth” information above is true??? Just because they may have suffered some kind of abuse, does not mean they are the killers.
Don’t let your emotions spill of your tongue…

I’m not implying that any of the Beaudean family may have been involved at all. I was simply looking at it from a different angle.

“Call the police?”

“Nah, that’d never work. A much better option is to take the law into your own hands.”

Maybe calling the police gets people nowhere in certain circumstances, or at least in some cases where a restraining order is put in place, the other party simply ignores, cops a slap on the wrist over and over and continues to carry on. We see it all too often, with the last case I recall, being the poor woman blown away in the service station in Casula, by her ex-boyfriend.

I definitely agree that it is never wise to take the law into your own hands, but when fear is instilled into some people, they see this as their ONLY option.

Hopefully a little good comes from this terrible mess…

Well it certainly appears to have provided an ultimate solution for whoever did the deed.

Indubitably, BerraBoy68!

Far too much common sense involved there Granny. As for calling the baby Jesus Christ, wouldn’t that be spelt Gezuss Kriyst?

Would the Beaudeans resist inserting an expletive between “Jesus” and “Christ” though?

I’ve just realised that there is a reasonable chance of Teneeka’s child being born, not in the first week of January as has been advertised, but . . . in the last week of December.

He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. [Revelations 19:12]

Quite sensible not letting on about his name considering.

I need a smile.

Where’s Granny?

Instant Mash12:05 pm 13 Dec 08

Well… It looks like someone has their grumpy hat on.

Meanness is so funny.

Until it’s happening to you.

Oh well played, shiny flu.

Grammar is important; I am prepared to reserve my opinion on Teneeka, pending the arrival and naming of her offspring.

Since I’m not of white background and technically according to Dell, un-Australian I’m going to play the RACISM CARD. F’ing murdering supporting bastard!

Hmmm, bit too much correct punctuation … quote marks placed properly … yep. Johnboy is right.

Actually, GB, it’s the “passed over” that did it for me. Presumably Shani is already phoning the psychics who advertise towards the back of New Idea.

I see bear-baiting is still official policy on riotact.

Just as well that literacy is such a good guide to moral worth.

Ooooh! Ooooh! Ooooh!

Connoisseurs of white trash should see the comments of Shani Cassidy, mother of young Tyler Cassidy, the 15 year old shot by the perpetually trigger-happy Victorian Police last night, from a statement issued today:

“Why was he slayed to death when it was so unnecessary? Four officers were not capable of managing the situation? Now you have passed over I will speak for you and others like you.”

The coppers clearly think Teneeka had some control over the situation otherwise they wouldn’t have charged her with being an accessory after the fact.

I’ve not commented on this (or the related) thread before so feel no need to wear asbestos undies to wade into this flame. That said, Taneeka’s baby’s dad should be able to look after the baby if things don’t go too well for Taneeka.. er, won’t he Dell?

not yet R.Slick, its early days though 🙂

Gee, no threats to call in the police or close down RiotACT? Is this a first?

tylersmayhem3:34 pm 12 Dec 08

That’s funny…I’ve often had trouble with my Dell!

Interesting his post all seems to be about us believing the cops when they say that the family was involved in the death in question. He doesn’t comment at all on the majority of the tread which, if I recall correctly, was about the humour of their names.

Yes there are two sides to every story – but unless the bloke they knocked off was a rapist or kiddie fiddler he didn’t deserve to die.

So when your actions cause someone to die you should expect to be locked up. That’s not unAustralian – thats common sense – a bit of which I think Dell is missing…

Phew…what a nutbag. Thats a shocker.

Love the “you’re all unAustralian” slant to it.

Obviously only dirty foreign people do bad things, “real” Australians would never.

You know, I have a mate who lives in Queanbeyan who sometimes uses the handle Dell…
