Canberra FM have sent in the following:
104.7 has continued its unbroken 4 year run as Canberra’s favourite radio station and 5 years as the regions number 1 commercial radio station. Scotty & Nige also continue to dominate the Breakfast time-slot with the most people listening to them over any other show with 83,600 listeners over the age of 10 tuning in each week.
MIX 106.3 has also experienced audience growth with 92,600 listeners over the age of 10 years now listening each week, placing them in a strong number 3 position. New hosts, Pete & Biggzy, have also retained the number 2 commercial spot in the competitive Breakfast time-slot.
General Manager of Canberra FM Radio (operator of both 104.7 & MIX 106.3), Eoghan O’Byrne, said “104.7 will be celebrating a well-deserved result and are to be commended for consistently holding their number 1 position over the past 5 years, as it’s a feat that not many radio stations can lay claim to.” O’Byrne added, “We’re extremely happy with the results and audience loyalty with MIX 106.3 as the station continues to re-build with a new breakfast show, branding and line-up changes all in place for only a few weeks prior to this Audience Survey.”
Canberra FM Radio now boasts 170,300 listeners across both 104.7 and MIX 106.3, an increase from 48.1% to 48.3% of the ACT radio audience market.
