Devil_n_Disquiz has sent in this awesome shot of the Bungendore wind turbines taken from the top of Mount Ainslie as well as some other corkers which are in the slideshow.

To match the fog with a frost Kevin has sent in these amazing fractals found on his windscreen.

Getting down into the fog Richard took a bunch down by Questacon.

250mm zoom.

I was quite surprised to see them spinning away merrily in the early morning air. Most certainly was taken from Mt Ainslie. I am sure there is some scientific, cold air etc etc reason as to why the turbines appeared closer than what they actually are (zoon lens aside).

I took this photo just up from where the road loops back on its self. If this pic is at 12 o clock, the airport is just off at around 3 o clock 🙂

Would have been a great shot before those turbines were planted there,

It’s still a great shot?

I noticed that the water in a toilet bowl at work was still iced over at 9.30am this morning. I tried to take a photo, but it sadly didn’t work out.

Would have been a great shot before those turbines were planted there,

That’s over 20 k’s away. Closer to 25!
That’s one hell of a zoom lens..

As the crow flies it is just on 34km, which makes the photo all the more impressive if shot from Mt Ainslie!
