ACT Policing is seeking to identify three men involved in a disturbance in the food court in Belconnen Mall tonight (Monday, January 2).

Police were called to the location around 6.35pm after witnesses reported a fight between two groups of men, one group aged in their late teens and another in their mid-20s.

One 18-year-old man is suspected to have produced a knife in the incident but suffered a self-inflicted wound to his hand. Three other teens received minor injuries.

Police arrived within three minutes and took the 18-year-old man into custody. He and another 18-year-old will be charged with weapons offences and are expected to be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Police will study CCTV footage of the incident in an attempt to identify three older males who fled the scene.

Anyone who may be able to assist with the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

You know you’re a great criminal when you pull a knife, cut YOURSELF and get arrested.

my favourite part is when the 18YO pulled a knife, and cut himself :/ bloody emo law breakers…
