Forde Community Association

Hi Rioters,

We are trying to launch a Residents/Community Association in the suburb of Forde in Gungahlin – the Forde Community Association.

Communities@Work are hosting a ‘Community Conversation’ at the Forde Community Centre this Saturday at 3pm as part of a continuing series to engage the community. I wanted to encourage any Forde residents who frequent riotact to come along and have their say. We are looking at ways of maintaining some of the local events, how to find out what the suburb needs into the future, and how to engage with the broader community associations.

If any other rioters have experience in similar associations, I’d also be keen to hear some feedback.
