tv dump

RB78 has brought the happy news that Gungahlin is not being left behind by West Belconnen in the race to establish free tv dumping grounds.

Hi Guys,

Looks like Gungahlin has a newer TV dump than West Belconnen – saw this on Amy Ackman Street in Forde today. (reminded me of this thread)

Which bit ? tAMS ?

All hail the tv dumpers, maybe the message will get through soon and ratepayers will receive a couple of vouchers for the tip when they pay their rates.

This isn’t about “civil disobedience”. This is about the fact that a percentage of the population are antisocial a**eholes.

Dammit – Why aren’t they putting one of these dumps near my suburb? I’ve got a couple of old CRTs to unleash and all the dumping space around the clothing bins is taken-up with sofas!

(Which makes me think: What happens if someone tries to misuse a TV dump by leaving useful clothes there?)

Hard rubbish collection seems like a really really REALLY good idea.

Oh wait I get it if you make it so bloody expensive to go to the tip no one will go,no landfill needed, mission accomplished.
