A dear little fellow has been wandering around the neighbourhood all afternoon and Canberra Connect unfortunately can’t confirm his address so I can return him.

He doesn’t have a tag (aside from his rego one).

Just a reminder to put your number and address on your lovely pets so your neighbours can take them back home. Although he seems happy here, I’d rather return him!

Keep an eye on here: http://www.tams.act.gov.au/live/pets/lost,_found,_impounded_and_wanted_dogs/domestic_test_i_frame

A bull mastiff gate crashed our agility training with our dogs on the local oval in Melba recently. He had no tags but we posted his details on the TAMS website and also kept an eye on the ‘lost’ dogs section of the TAMs website and he was reunited with his owner just after midnight 🙂 It was lucky because there was no way we could get him into our car to take him to the vet to have his microchip scanned.

He actually was supposed to have a collar/tags but had somehow lost them along the way – probably snagged on something. The owner said one of the neighbours had seen the dog being coaxed into a car so it is also possible that someone tried to steal the dog and took off his tags. In any case, sometimes dogs can lose their collars and tags … Hope the fellow goes home soon and good on you for looking out for him.
