Canberra’s Fred Smith has made the review section of The Australian.

I don’t recall seeing a local artist getting this sort of attention.

It’s in the leadup to the release on September 3 of his new album.

This talented man looks much older and wiser than when I last saw him only two years ago – looks as though Tarin Kowt is a surefire place to lose your babyface.

Or listen to samples of three songs from the album (plus some of his earlier work) here: http://fredsmith.com.au/pages/listenpage.html

Or listen to the Weekend Planet Saturday 10pm, 06 August 2011 on ABC Radio National

Or buy the hardcopy version from Songland Records in Tuggeranong.

It’s on itunes, he might be one of these crazy people who like to be paid for his work?

mr smith should make a torrent of his tunes – i couldn’t find any, just a bad youtube clip

will the album be releasing on bittorrent? i’d like to listen

A worthy recognition of an immensely talented singer/songwriter and a sensational album.

Good to see. The latest album is certainly topical 🙂
