ACT Policing has seized over $30,000 worth of stolen property after executing search warrants on two Fyshwick businesses yesterday afternoon (Thursday, October 27).

ACT Policing Criminal Investigation members executed the warrants at around 5.00pm on two brothels located on Gladstone Street, Fyshwick.

During the warrants, officers seized alcohol, cosmetics, perfume and bed linen which are believed to have been stolen.

Two people with connections to one of the businesses will be summonsed to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date in relation to the property seized.

Apparently the Police were ‘in and out’ in no time!

Hopefully it was done discreetly through a seldom-used entrance.

5.00pm-? surely that when a few of the regular punters would be coming in..

That’s odd. I work in the vicinity and didn’t see or hear anything. Must’ve been pretty low profile.

Perhaps they used a discreet rear entrance.

I didn’t know Mustang Ranch had been raided as well 😛

Absolute c**t of a job.

I am sure they won’t take this lying down.

“Fyshwick Busts” sounds more like an advert than a headline. Considering there are only foreplay, says on Gladstone street and one of those is a shop, it’s “not hard” to work out where the police interests arose. Still, $30k is a lot to pay for nice smelling sheets and a bit o licker.

I’m certain that costs extra 😉

They seized the bed lined from a brothel.

I’m not sure I’d be wanting the return of any bed linen from those establishments 🙂
