That Gungahlin landmark and favourite haunt for Gungahlin nightowls is back.

The G-Spot reopened a couple of weeks back – same location. Apparently the Lakes club asked operator Andrew Dale to reopen.

The hours are better too, allowing families to indulge too: Wed 6 pm to 12, Thu 6 to 1 am, and Fri/Sat 6 to 3 am.

So if you are hankering after a Fat B@stard, a Half Mongrel, a Cheesy B@stard, a deep fried Mars bar, or even a Crazy B@stard, you’ve now got somewhere to go again.

Jonathon Reynolds has put together a little celebratory Youtube clip:

But if you are viewing it at work, be wary about what other clips may be recommended by Youtube at the end of it, courtesy of the name!

So, the hours are better for families (who Id never really seen there anyway), but for those who finish work late, your only choice for a quick feed after work is the 24hr Maccas. Both the food vans in Woden, close at 3am at the earliest, good for when you dont finish work until midnight or later.

I wonder if the opening hours were suggested by the club who also asked (helped?) the guy to re-open?

The whole menu (and prices) is shown on JR’s video clip Dan.

Just to clarify – if you are handling food AND money with the same hand – it is important that after you touch money you replace the gloves before touching food again.

Too many times I have gone to food joints to see people accept money with a gloved hand only to turn around and continue preparing food with the same gloved hand.

Money is filthy – if you dropped money in the gutter you would pick it up – everyone touches money some with the same hands they do not wash after using the toilet. In some countries, they can trace laundered money through amphetamine residue present on the note.

Anyway I digress – g-spot – can anyone make comment on wether the menu remains the same – a 32 week pregannt wife would love to get her hands on some deep fried marsbars 🙂

It would have been nice to see the staff wearing gloves before wrapping up the burgers in the last minute of the clip. Still looks worthy of a trip.

SB: gloves are required if handling both food and money. The person cooking was only cooking and wrapping. The person serving never touched any food in the whole clip – only wrappings.

Haven’t been to a takeaway lately sbugden?

Has anyone been so interested in a 5 minute video of people making takeaway food ever, WOW I want some G-spot!!

Nice video. I would like to see a clip of the famous Brodburger caravan!

It would have been nice to see the staff wearing gloves before wrapping up the burgers in the last minute of the clip. Still looks worthy of a trip.
