The Brumbies have announced that they’ve signed The Western Force scrum half Josh Valentine for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, making sure Matt Giteau feels right at home.

Hopefully we can keep that pairing for a few years because a lack of communication from the base of the ruck has dogged the team this season.

Ha! Looks like I was right, then.

Will Phibbs’ marital ties to Finnegan be enough to save him?

Pity they can’t swap all three halfbacks for Genia

“Crappy” is a bit rough…I reckon both our halves have done a reasonable job this season. Not great maybe, but hardly crappy. Still…not a bad move. Giteau has had a great season, you’d have to attribute a little of that to a good understanding between him & his scrum half.

The Force might mind losing Giteau but I don’t think they reckon Valentine will be much of a lose.
