Get thee to The Front

I was just in The Front at Lyneham for a beer while I waited for a pizza. They’ve got the most amazing, terrifying, nauseating, astonishing sculpture in there right now.

Seriously it should be in NGA. The rest of the exhibition is of variable quality and features the work of some local music personalities (amongst others), but you’ll know which one I’m talking about when you see it.

I’d love to tell you more or show you a picture but I don’t want to ruin the impact so just take this one on trust OK?

It’s well worth a drive to Lyneham at lunchtime.

I just vomited over the keyboard!

I agree.

Not sure you did it justice mate.

For those that don’t mind spoiling the experience, I have some pics on Loadedog at http://www.loadedog.com/?p=477

Oh someone please post a picture. We’re not all going to drive there.

I love dogs. Have a couple right now and they sleep inside. But the place does smell. Ohh, I love art too, especially the wiered stuff.

No, because it’s a dog friendly place.

And if you don’t like dogs you don’t deserve art because it will be wasted on you when you’re burning in hell.

Have they gotten rid of smells like dog in there?

It is an amazing sickening sculpture but MESMERISING. Brilliant. Rather than NGA perhaps Peter Haynes might cough up some ACT ratepayer funds …
