ACT Policing arrested a 47-year-old Ainslie man after child pornography material was located on his computer yesterday afternoon (Monday, September 12).
Police received information from the man’s girlfriend that he had images saved on his computer suspected of being child pornography.
Members for ACT Policing’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team attended the man’s residence and seized a computer, external hard drive and a single compact disc.
The man was arrested and is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
