Chief Minister Stanhope has taken the unusual step of issuing a media release to congratulate Mr Hani Sidaros on the opening of a Mcdonalds franchise at Gold Creek.
“The Gold Creek Village has become a well-established business and tourist precinct in Gungahlin, providing specialised goods and services to nearby residents and visitors,” Mr Stanhope said.
McDonald’s is well known across Australia for not only providing local employment opportunities but also through its enormous contribution towards the fabric of society by supporting community programs, local sporting initiatives and charities like Ronald McDonald House.
“The organisation has long been recognised as an excellent employer which invests heavily in the training and development of its employees, encouraging strong work ethic, teamwork, diversity in the workplace and personal development,” Mr Stanhope said.
There’s going to have to be some lifting of the game by other cafes in the area.
