If you can find a car park! that is the only down fall with that place. Food is worth it though! also +1 Rolls Choice, Elaines and Noodles.

Other options are Creme Addiction on Kembla st, Industry cafe opposite Harvey Norman, cafe @ robbos used to be great not sure if they still are, cafe Cibo in the old DAS fleet complex (drive under Monaro highway along Newcastle st.

You can also go to DFO for Wok Me, Kebabs, Asian and a healthy style sandwich place.

Now to ones I don’t know the name of – hopefully you find them from the descriptions – the little take away beside the independent petrol station off Canberra Ave makes great rolls, there is also a small organic/fresh sandwich type shop on the corner of Canberra Ave and Geelong st (shares space with a water tank business) opposite the trady type take away.

Unfortunatley with Fyshwick you need a car to get to more than the immediate ones near your work.

@Jivrashia: You sure can choose the level of chilli you want. I once decided to try Medium and regretted it immediately 🙂

Rolls Choice.

It’s still there as far as I know. It used to be the bees knees, but then Blue Olive opened. Sadly, though, that’s not in Fyshwick so Rolls Choice does the trick from time to time.

Fish and chips from the Fyshwick markets is also not a bad option.

Struggling to see how anyone can think Elaine’s pies are expensive, too, but there you go. They’re very well priced IMO and generally very good. Assuming you’re not expecting a full gourmet pie.

Apparently you can choose the level of chilly in some dish… (the owner told me). I haven’t been game to try the “Thai hot” level.

Had been wondering where they went after disappearing from the food courts in Canberra Centre. Something to look forward to the next time I’m in Fyshwick during lunch time.

Isa St Bakery was always a favourite when I worked in Fyshwick, don’t know if it is still there though.
