For those in the south of Canberra, Lanyon Valley Anglican Church, is once again hosting Church in The Park on Good Friday. All are welcome to come along tomorrow to Gordon Park (Point Hut Pond, the one with the leaning tower, off McGilvary Close) for a free breakfast from 9am, church from 10am and free morning tea afterwards. There will also be games for the kids and face painting.

——————-
Lanyon Valley Anglican Church is a new church which started in 2006, in the southern suburbs (Tuggeranong area) of Canberra. The church is reaching into the Valley with the hope that only Jesus offers. Come and find this hope with us. We currently meet in the St Clare of Assisi Catholic school hall, at 10am each Sunday (Heidelberg St, Conder) and from the 4th May 2008 we will be starting Night Church, an evening congregation for those who aren’t morning people!

I’m surprised they have churches in Tuggeranong. I thought the missionaries hadn’t reached that far yet . . .

I believe the township Falsehope is found in Ohio, actually.

Surely Jesus isn’t the only place one can find false hope?
