Good Guys robbed.

ABC Online have a very aptly titled story this morning about a pretty big robbery at the Good Guys fyshwick store over the weekend. Seems that the ‘bad guys’ just rolled a truck up to the front door and made off with the loot.

They’re calling for anyone who has seen a truck containing shady looking characters and $100,000 worth of stolen electrical gear to be reported to the police.

asp, from what I saw on the news last night, it appears the burglars came in through the roof.

It wasn’t that guy who tried to break into Belconnen Mall through the roof the other week was it?

The roof. Wow. That’s pretty extreme, though not unprecedented. Family in Sydney about 5 years ago endured a home invasion. They had roller shutters, bars and steel grate doors. Guys came through the roof, waited till they got home. They got away with some money, nothing major.

I may be wrong, but I though the store had a roller door over the front doors. I may be thinking of another store in Fyshwick. In any cases, Harris Technology up the road has a good deal more stuff or greater total value and to my knowledge, hasn’t being done over like this. Why? Might be the heavy grills that they have over every door and window.

The Good Guys – where appliances are walking out the door.

What were the team of acrobats doing ?

I was under the impression that they all just lurked near the doorway waiting for customers to pounce on and offer good deals for cash while doing a 3 half turn twist.

Obviously they have a good security system installed.

Inside job?
