Goulburn loser punches on with the cops

ACT Policing has arrested a 27-year-old Goulburn man after he assaulted a police officer early this morning (Sunday, October 20).

Around 3.30am police were called to a disturbance involving several people at the entrance to Bible Lane in Bunda Street.

Police attended and attempted to arrest a man who was involved in the incident. Police will allege that during the arrest the man struck an officer in the face multiple times.

The man was taken to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with affray, obstructing a Commonwealth Official and common assault.

He received Watch House Bail and will be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
