My attention was drawn to these comments by the seemingly inept Minister.

ACT Emergency Service Minister John Hargreaves refused to comment on the legal action but said he respected people’s right to take it.

“I can’t really comment on these things because obviously they’re matters before the court,” he told ABC Radio.

“We respect absolutely people’s right to seek redress through the court system if that’s the way they really feel they should do it.

“That’s why we’ve got the court system and that’s why it has to be independent of government so that the citizens can actually decide for themselves how they want to play it.”

Really? Then why the hell are you using the legal system to bury what happened?

What’s Your opinion?
