This East Jindabyne home showcases truly breathtaking 270-degree waterfront views over Lake Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains through feature windows in the heart of the home.

Featuring five bedrooms, three bathrooms, cathedral ceilings and an open-plan design, 10 Tulong Close prides itself on its design and its awe-inspiring views.

Henley Property real estate agent Michael Henley said the home was spectacular.

“You have fantastic open spaces, a massive, vaulted ceiling and a huge window right in the heart of the home with views out to the lake and Snowy Mountains,” he said.

“It makes a great family home or vacation home for anyone looking to live the Australian alpine lifestyle.”

As you enter the home, you are met with modern functionality. A spacious double garage provides internal access to the light-filled foyer and a multi-functional room currently housing an indoor gym.

The second level illustrates the true scale of the home’s grandeur through its meticulously designed inclusive floor plan, blackbutt timber floorboards, cathedral ceilings, mezzanine hallways, and west-facing window display that captures the warmth of the afternoon sun.

A newly renovated kitchen features modern design with bespoke finishes, Caesarstone benches, ample storage and high-end appliances.

Double-glazed comfort plus doors seamlessly connect the kitchen and living areas to the timber entertaining deck accompanied by a retractable remote-controlled awning and uninterrupted views of the glistening waters of Lake Jindabyne.

Michael said the home’s main living space was fantastic.

“Walking into the living area feels amazing,” he said. “You walk into this grand space with views over the lake and mountains, massive ceilings and windows and massive open spaces.”

The mezzanine-style hallways on the third-floor lead to three spacious bedrooms, all with built-in robes and lake views.

At the end of the hall, the master bedroom is a peaceful and private haven. The luxurious walk-in robe offers a multitude of storage options with two-tier closet storage, an island bench with drawer storage, and, to top it all off, a secret clothes chute for delivering dirty clothes straight to the laundry.

A generous ensuite features a large walk-in shower with dual-controlled shower heads, his and hers floating vanities, and a large bathtub.

If trends continue, this house which could potentially house 12 seasonal workers over the winter or a large family year-round, will end up on airbnb like so many other properties in this town (just look at the ads in the window of the real estate agents next time you are there if you think I am making this up). It has been happening more and more in recent years and as a result, a lot of workers who run the attractions that so many people pay a fortune each year to use spend the winter living in the back of a van, decide it wasn’t worth it and never go back. The result has been a workforce that is less skilled than it should be which has affected the quality of service in that time. I sincerely hope that the buyer of this place wants to put it to good use rather than make a quick buck. I do know that they have every right to do this (it’s their money) but it is such a shame that people who love the area can’t live there because of people couldn’t care less about the place and just want to cash in.
