Our esteemed leader, Comrade stanhope, (who must be saddened by Castro’s retirement) has announced that some of Canberra’s best local musicians, The Andi & George Band, is being supported (well the media release states they are the support acts but hey!) by a cover band, Human Nature and “pop diva Ricki-Lee” on Stage 88 on Canberra Day being Monday the 10th of March. Ee gads! Have mercy! (oh, aging but sort of cool rockers Mental as Anything will also be there).

Stanhope tells us to look at the www.events.act.gov.au website for further details but there is currently more info on the above press release than on that page.

Oh, and there will be cake. And playschool.

The Andi & George Band play at Transit just about every second thursday… much better idea to see them there.

Utter Tosh – I was hoping we were in for a little old-skool reggae for a moment there.

“Utter Tosh” – Look out, we have a “Pommy Slang” pusher on the loose…

Look at the bright side of this event – it gives the ACT Govt a bit of experience in running these events that are no longer the domain of the NCA – and puts a hole in their pissweak scaremongering campaign

Sounds like a good one to miss

Mentals eh? Haven’t seen them perform since the early 80s. Surfair beergarden Sunshine Coast.

Wow Human Nature! I hear they have just returned from a successful tour of the Black Mountain Peninsula toilets. Gee how many sleeps?

I just can’t help it, I have to say it…

the cake is a lie
