Greens and Labor trade barbs

In CityNews Jorian Gardner has managed to source some great quotes out of Labor and the Greens about how they’re feeling about each other:

“It’s gotten really bad”, a senior Labor Party official told “CityNews”.
“Honestly, I don’t understand the games they are playing. We’ve nearly had enough of them.
“We are really sick of them and they should pull their heads in.”
At the same time, a senior Green has hit back, describing the ACT Environment Minister Simon Corbell as a “goose” and “a total pain the ass” following the Minister accusing Speaker and leading Green Shane Rattenbury of “bias” on the floor of the Assembly.

It seems unlikely this airing of the laundry (and there’s more in the source article) is going to improve relations.

“Today’s quotes are brought to you by the letters B and S”.

Nah. I won’t believe it until the Greens threaten to block supply and get some changes from Labor’s budget. Until then, this might simply be all for show! Grow some balls!

PM, tell Zed to dream on.

As to the substance of the report; it doesn’t surprise me for a moment. I’d rather herd cat’s than deal with the Greens.

They are great quotes – but they’re as believable as Transformers until someone names these ‘sources’.

Receiving a report or dossier from a source is very different to throwaway anecdotal quotes.

+1. I heard today from a senior Labor source that Stanhope is thinking of having a sex change operation and calling himself Mavis. No seriously, a really, really, superduper senior labor member told me this. The same one in fact that spoke to Mr Gardner. Prove me wrong.
