The Green’s Shane Rattenbury likes twitter unless it is about him!

Should you desire the wit and wisdom of Alistair Coe, who appears to have invented a new electorate of “Belconnen, Nicholls and Hall in the ACT Assembly” you can find his tweets at http://twitter.com/#!/alistair_coe

Edglass, your fanatic astroturfing for John wasn’t particularly effective last time, why not change tactics?

Bloody greens are hopeless, the only real greens are the national party! Green without being radical. John Barliaro on Queanbeyan Council is a good example.

One thousand apologies JB. I’m so used to your byline appearing that I didn’t even check.

A sook, JB? I reckon it’s a fair and well written letter.

I didn’t write the headline BL.

What, no letter to Hargreaves? Having watched some of the Assembly sittings and committee hearings, he does very little other than sit there and play with his damn phone and I am sure he would have no idea what is going on 95% of the time.

He’s a credit to the morons who voted him back in.

Routine correspondence is routine.

Yes indeed the XO_VSOP thinks Mr Shane Rattenbury is just agist ! I also think he should implore his staffer to spell check his reprimands!

Alistair is a bit of a precious little sook himself. I sent him a private message on Facebook disagreeing with his post that he Liked the Australian Christian Lobby. He responded by defriending me. I told Simon Corbell that if little Alistair is so thin-skinned that he can’t take criticism then perhaps politics is the wrong career path for him (Alistair).

Skidbladnir is right. The guy’s illiterate – and so apparently his his correspondence staffer.

“Discretely” !

I would have known the difference by age 13 at the latest.

PM,

Coe posted four months back that “alistair_coe notes Shane Rattenbury is a surly Speaker today #actla”.

I can’t get Twitter or see the photo from here… anyone want to share?

I am in complete agreeance with the Speaker on this. PLaying games, doing a crossword or ranting on twitter whilst in the chamber is highly unprofessional and we should expect better

1. Coe is the age at which many people twitter about everything (never understood it myself, though)

2. Have you read Hansard? “Said proceedings” do not always warrant “due attention”.

1 + 2 does not give Coe automatic rights to twitter mean things about someone.

Why are politicians worse than school children?

“You said something bad about the chair. Stop it or I’ll tell….”

Shane Rattenbury’s signature looks like a swear word.

I agree with the Speaker’s position on this. Partly because the offender is seeking to circumvent standing and accepted practice, and secondly because a member who is concentrating on texting or typing during a session is unlikely to be giving said proceedings due attention,

More like: Alistair sooks about being told off for violating rules of conduct followed by every other MLA.

English, learn it.

Discrete: Functionaly seperate and distinct (ie: individual).
Discreet: Not drawing attention.

Wankers. And it is a shame that they appear to be illiterate. The word he wanted was Discreetly. Discretely means separately.
