A lead guitarist is needed to assist in performance of existing original songs. Guitarist needs to be
– technically proficient
– have a folk/roots background
– willing to play regular gigs locally as well as once a month in syd/melb
– prepared to record and tour mid to end 2006
– ability to sing backup vox good but not essential
If this sounds like you then I’ll give you a little more info
– work as a duo (I carry vocals/guitar/violin), I’ve been banging around town for a while now and I reckon a good guitarist would be great to have along
– I have a large set of original stuff that I wan’t to start playing seriously in Sydney and Melbourne so at least initially, creative input would be limited to existing material
– This would be in preparation for extensive (and expensive) recording in 2006 of an EP and LP of this material
– These releases would be supported by three major (four week) tours from qld down through syd/act/vic
