ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) is seeking witnesses to a collision on Horse Park Drive, Gungahlin, earlier today (Saturday, March 19), in which three people were conveyed to hospital.
Around 5.06am today, a black Holden Viva sedan travelling south on Horse Park Drive collided with a silver BMW 3-Series sedan travelling north.
All three occupants of the Holden – two females and a male – were conveyed to hospital in a serious condition. The driver of the BMW is believed to have fled the scene on foot. The BMW was later reported as stolen.
Police closed the road for around five hours while investigations into the collision continued.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision earlier today, or may have any information about the driver of the BMW to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
