ACT Policing is investigating an incident in Dickson at 12.45pm today (Friday, March 4) in which a firearm was allegedly drawn by a security guard on a member of the public.
Whilst the full circumstances of the incident are still under investigation, police have interviewed the victim who alleges that an earlier dispute occurred between himself and the security guard.
No shots were fired and no charges have been laid at this time.
The security guard is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident in Dickson at lunchtime today to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can be provided anonymously.
