ACT Policing’s Crime Targeting Team has arrested a 20-year-old Hughes man in possession of hair styling products after executing a search warrant at his residence earlier today (Wednesday, February 2).
During the warrant, detectives seized a number of hair products and styling equipment which have been linked to burglaries occurring at hair salons in late 2010.
Police will also allege that the man was involved in a number of thefts, stolen motor vehicle and traffic offences which occurred around the same time.
The man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of taking a motor vehicle without consent, four counts of theft and three traffic offences.
The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Thursday, 3 February).
