old bike

Peter [-of-Queanbeyan] has sent this in with the following note:

Remember the fifties? They’re back

Across the road from the Treasury Building, is this relic from a bygone age. Someone was collecting kindling and forgot all about it…

It has actually cunningly camoflaged itself. It’s lying in wait to spring out and ambush its natural enemy, Jims Mowing.

“Remember the fifties? They’re back”

It never left my home town…

Probably yet another piece of very expensive ACT Government art.

It has been sitting at the bike racks for about 4 months, about time it ended up as modern/native installation piece.

Near the Treasury building, and filled with kindling. Belonging to a member of the Tent Embassy, perhaps?

I blame Jim’s Mowing

Fantastic hero shot for the inner north hipsters, just need the front somewhere in the background.
