Hargreaves fails to support Stanhope as much as he can (sort of)

The West Australian (of all places) is talking up the no-confidence motion in Our Brave Leader.

They note the sheep of the Labor caucus are unlikely to exercise any judgment (other than to toe the line like they’ve been told to).

There is, however, an interesting quote from John Hargreaves:

He has had my 150 per cent support since 1998 and he will have it for as long as he remains in this assembly, in any capacity he chooses,” Mr Hargreaves told reporters.

“He has my unqualified support. I think he is the best leader this assembly has had since self-government.”

Only 150%? I mean if we’re heading into the territory of imaginary numbers surely he could go with the playground tested ∞+1 ?

Isn’t the phrase ‘he has my unqualified support’ code for ‘I am about to stab you in the back’?

Hargreaves is such a toady and Corbell is Stanhope clone (see his performance after Stanhope said the Coroner was plain wrong). What kind of voters have we got in this shire council who put up with all the stuff-ups, wasted money, ridiculous spending proposals and crumbling local infrastructure and amenities?

∞^∞

Topless amputees holding hands?

∞^∞ +1

😛

∞^∞

Beat that.

Surely the schoolyard variant is actually infinity to the power of one

Everyone knows the ultimate number in the playground is ∞ + ∞.

“Only 150%? I mean if we’re heading into the territory of imaginary numbers surely he could go with the playground tested ∞+1 ?”

Sounds like the expert mathematical analysis the ACT Labor Party use to interpret their budgets.

“I saw Hargraves stagger on stage at the multicultural festival on Saturday. He blabbered something about clubs, shot his fist into the air and then practically fell off the stage.”…….you forgot to add and than drove home!

Off topic, I call on all bears to comment on this thread. No sensible reason, I’d just like to see how many bears we have around the place.

Bear is gay slang for fat hairy gay man – don’t ask questions – I just know so 🙂

To that end I am not a bear (insert seinfeld quote here) – Not that there is anything wrong with that

Surely the schoolyard variant is actually infinity to the power of one – or was I hanging out with the math kids too much, thereby acquiring a dorkier variant?

(and I qualify as a bear, albiet in the coloquial sense of “fat hairy guy” rather than “have the word bear in my nickname”

maybe Hargreaves should support him 92%, the same as the pokies pay out

Must have been doing his Hitler impersonation again.

I saw Hargraves stagger on stage at the multicultural festival on Saturday. He blabbered something about clubs, shot his fist into the air and then practically fell off the stage.

Hasdrubear?

Whole thing is a farce. What’s the odds that if the motion were carried Stanhope would still refuse to step down – yes he is that arrogant!!!

Looks like the West Australian is also mathematically challenged. 10+7+1 is a number greater than the number of MLAs we are compelled to elect.

The arrogance of Hargreaves knows no bounds. Did you see him on the 6.00pm WIN News on 20 February? And what about Deb Foskey on the 7.00pm news of the same evening. Doesn’t seem any doubt that she won’t support the motion. Lots of blood on the Green’s hands, especially in relation to fuel loads and fire trail maintenance.

150%. what a tool.

Don’t they have to support him – I mean they were all around in the lead up to the fires, and none of them were running around warning people, or raising the alarm.

Actually – same can be said for big Bill Stefaniak. If he would have warned everyone – then why didn’t he????
