ACT Policing has arrested and charged a woman after she assaulted a man at a party in Harrison this morning (March 3).
Around 4:15am, police responded to a report that a man had been assaulted and his ear lobe bitten off by a woman.
Officers spoke to the 32-year-old victim who sustained facial and ear injuries as a result of the assault. The man was conveyed to hospital for treatment.
Police located the 30-year-old woman a short distance from the house and placed her under arrest. During a search of her belongings, police found a knife and a small quantity of cannabis.
The woman was conveyed to the ACT Watch House where she was charged with Posses Knife Without Reasonable Excuse, Common Assault and Intentionally Inflict Grievous Bodily Harm.
She is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow (March 4).
