How much cash would a KFC really have in the tills? No much I’d have thought.

Masks are so that the staff won’t recognize them as regular customers from over the road. Time to go for an all cash free society.

Which is pretty much true with the blocks of old flats literally across the road.

I’ve been to that KFC a couple of times and it’s the only time in my life I’ve ever seen a place that was so squalid that I was compelled to write into KFC head office about it. I’d never written about a place before and I haven’t since. When I wrote in about it, there was garbage on the counter, you could see mass amounts of chips on the floor in various stages of being walked into the tiles. The whole place looked terrible (more so than your average KFC).

Actually the old flates directly across from there have moslty older people in them – not many junkies and what not. Its a quiet block – i used to live there.

The ones the block behind (beetaloo court) on the other hand – well that place is scary day or night

Are you saying that the police should start buying KFC on the off chance that they encounter a robbery? That might just work

On another note, I do not see them encountering a robbery sitting in the police station either. If we need police visibility to deter these scumbags then so be it.

Well clearly that’s the problem… So Police are supposed to be everywhere and just “make arrests” now? How about some evidence? Genius….

So many aggravated robberies recently. Have the cops been able to get hold of anyone? Do they even have suspects? Im scared of going to the shops after dark now, I can barely imagine what the staff at such places would have gone through. Come on AFP, do something. A couple of encounters and arrests would atleast instill some confidence. If only they would spend less time buying milk and donuts from Coles.

Consider the amount of time they spend at Subway and Maccas. Join the dots.

Did it look anything like this?

LOL Reading the headline I got this video image in my head of a truck backing into a KFC store and the store falling over! It was very funny. Pity I don’t have an imagination cam…

Seems that all the criminals are starting to wear masks and/or bandannas to cover their faces.
They obviously don’t read ACTP website or RiotAct to know that it is safe not to wear masks in Canberra, as CCTV images are crap.
