ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after two men armed with a knife and metal bar committed an aggravated robbery in Hawker overnight.
Around 10pm yesterday (Sunday, 17 July) two men entered the Shell Service Station on Springvale Drive, where one male armed with a knife approached the staff member and made demands of cash while the other male remained at the front entrance.
The staff member handed over an amount of cash and the two men fled the area on foot.
Police conducted a search of the area, but were unable to locate the two men.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the vicinity of the Hawker Shops or the Shell Service Station on Springvale Drive around 10pm yesterday are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
