The ESA is warning that there will be some burning tomorrow:

Territory and Municipal Services will be conducting a small controlled burn, (weather permitting) tomorrow, Friday 20th March 2009, from 9.30am to 2.00pm.

The burn will take place in Aranda at the corner of Belconnen Way and Gungahlin Drive Extension. (ACT Handy Map reference K11)

This may cause some smoke to blow across parts of the ACT.

So, as usual, don’t panic.

Last Friday in March,Fedora Friday. It’s traditional for firemen to burn suburban bushland that way.

Cap that.

Hat they really ?

It looked like somebody hat lit some fires when I went past there.

That explains the signs saying no exit off GDE at Belconnen Way.
