Heil Zierholz! World conquest begins

A month or so ago, Canberra’s Associated Press bureau chief Rod McGuirk wrote a paeon to the handiwork of Christoph Zierholz and sent it off into the void of the world wire services.

Some of his colleagues wondered if Rod (who at times has been known to fancy himself as a bit of a beer connoisseur) may have had ulterior motives in his enthusiasm to choose Zierholz as the subject of a froth piece.

But the story got a run in some parts – e.g. The Shanghai Daily, probably kicked along by some fine accompanying photos from AP’s Rob Griffith.

Now it seems Rod’s piece on Christoph has brewed up some interest in the land of his forefathers, via the Epoch Times International. It might be of particular interest to readers with some knowledge of German.

Those who queried the international news value of a story on Zierholz should now apologise to Rod McGuirk profusely.

I’m dead serious, my wife on the other hand………

if 14 others were dead serious, i could do that.

All it would take is 15 riotact’ers to invest 10 grand each to make it happen!

Christmas is hammering poor Christoph.

He’d better get the bottling plant installed pronto then!
