Hell and High Water - fundraiser show/event to help QLD flood victims

Those all-round-cool-guys behind Canberra’s well-loved Green Room have teamed up with The Maram and a whole slew of local and interstate bands and acts to bring you Hell and High Water, A Fund Rasier for the Qld Flood Relief Appeal.

WHAT: a 12-hour, over-18’s only, two-stage musical extravaganza
WHERE: The Maram, Gartside St Wanniassa (ERINDALE)
WHEN: Noon – Midnight, 5 February 2011
HOW (much): $15. *All* door takings and 10% of bar takings donated to the QLD flood relief appeal. All the artists time, door staff and production equipment are volunteered, so your money all goes to where it counts.

Confirmed acts so far:

Open Pinata, Escape Syndrome, Point Of View, Sunset Riot (Syd), Live Evil, Black Creek, Super Best Friends, The Naddiks, The Glaciers, Makeshift, Love Sage, Mad Charlie (Syd), Zwambees, Activate Jetpack, Left Right Stereo, Pleased To Jive You, Black Squire, Hancock Basement, Heute-Und, Spoil

… plus a few more slots to be filled.

Should be a cracker of an afternoon/night, hope to see some of you there!

It starts before midday – how are there no buses available then?

shame I would love to go,,,,,
but buses do not run that time and taxi’s are expensive and lik an hours wait

This is gonna be awesome!

Note: entry is $15 before 4pm, and $25 after 4pm.
