Don’t take away a chicks right to get pissed without being called a slapper. Travesty! Go on girls, get as pissed as you want and have a blast.

It should be a huge day, if not for what happens on the track then off. You don’t need drunken slappers to have a good time. Those of us with girlfriends will have a top Sunday sesh with mates, possibly heading to Old Canberra Inn or O’Sheas for a Coopers or two after.

$25 entry, children under 18 free. hmmm i’ll have to pass on that one.

Well I was going to be recovering from a big Friday night – but I just heard the magic words(Drunken Slappers).

I’m in!

I too will be boogie boarding and fishing down the coast, although it is expectable that horses may get involved at some stage.

Anybody who has ever been fishing with Thumper will know how many quantum anomolies happen in that short space of the time continuum.

FQ:
1) Thumper was baiting you.
2) Ladies in dresses and hats getting drunk and making fools of themselves and vomiting in their handbags is not cultural, any more than our Annual Booner Festival, Summernats.

Although, if you want a man wearing a bowtie and suit to show you his bits, I’m your man.

Unless you really know the world of horse racing I dont agree that you can say it is morally or ethically wrong. The horses are treated so well – they are feed the very best feeds, rugged, watered, exercised. There are some horses that love to run so much that they dont need to be whipped – Take De Lightning Ridge for example – potentially one of Canberra’s best exports to put us on the map in racingm – she is never whipped! Horses that are whipped is like me poking you – It doesnt hurt them and is more an annoyance. Anyways your missing a great “and very cultural (aka ladies and champagne mix)day if you dont make it.

Black Opal = Golden Slipper/Blue Diamond
Canberra Cup = Melbourne Cup

I’m not going unless the horses have a burnout comp.

Thumper

You really don’t need to comment on every thread. Especially when most comments say so little – its almost spam.

It should be a great day at the races, a good program and some quality events. Is De Lightning Ridge good enough for a Black Opal / Golden Slipper double?

Will a thousand girls turn up looking like a million bucks, and head home beaten by the champers, shoes in hand and spew down dress?

Go on, you can pick up a drunken slapper or two, and write a review for The-RiotACT!
