Help! Lost hearing aids on the bus

I catch a bus from Albert Hall to the Marcus Clarke bus stop every day. I think I caught a 300 yesterday morning.

I left a red enviro bag on the bus, with a not particularly delicious lunch of broccoli, a tomato and tuna in it, along with today’s Canberra Times and some mints.

Sadly, I also had my hearing aids in the bag.

I have of course contacted Action, but it hasn’t been turned in.

You’re welcome to the lunch and mints, but I’d offer a generous reward for the return of the hearing aids.

My name and address with a receipt for the aids is also in the bag.

Thanks for posting that JB. I was loathe to ask riotact to be a lost and found but they’re a very expensive piece of kit.

My bag was handed in to Action with all intact. Big thank you to the good and honest citizen out there. I’ll return the compliment if I find someone’s lost property and keep the karma circulating.

That’s really good news.

Ear, ear!

LOL

It’s a reminder that many of us do have a conscience and are prepared to go out of our way to facilitate the return of someone else’s property.

A good news story 🙂

ACTION Lost Property Line: 6207 7558

I hope you find them.

Good luck getting them back!

The only advice I have, which may or may not be helpful, is to contact ACTION lost property directly. Just calling the info line isn’t very helpful. My partner lost her keys a few weeks back, and the people at the interchange and the normal ACTION info line were hopeless. After we’d lost all hope, and were looking to spend $300 on a new key for a Holden Astra (5 keys = value of car), we called lost property in Tuggeronong directly. The woman there was incredibly helpful. Not only did she have our keys, she’d heard nothing from the interchange office or the people we spoke to on the info line. She also logs the details of everything reported lost and will then call you if they turn up.
