Higgins chemist rolled

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a robbery at the Capital Chemist in Higgins this morning (Thursday, February 16).

Around 10.40am a man entered the premises and threatened staff, demanding they give him some prescription medication.

Staff complied and he took the medication and ran from the store, leaving the scene on a black motorcycle.

The offender is described as 173cm (5’8”) tall has an average build and was wearing a black Adidas hooded top, dark coloured pants and jeans. He had on a balaclava and a black full face motorcycle helmet.

Police would specifically like to speak to a man and a woman who were standing outside the store during the robbery but left before police arrived.
