Holt desperado

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred at Hardwick Crescent, Holt near the Magpies Sports Club yesterday afternoon (Saturday, October 26).

Around 5.00pm a man approached a woman from behind, threatened her with a knife before obtaining her keys. The offender unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to the victim’s car.

The offender then fled the area by foot chased by a number of witnesses who were in the area at the time. The chase ended shortly after.

Further investigations located two vehicles nearby with damage to the side windows. Police believe these vehicles are linked to the aggravated robbery.

The offender is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, short dark hair and approximately 6’3 (190cm) tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, green shirt and shorts.
