ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Holt last night (Wednesday, January 18).
About 11.30pm a man entered the 7-Eleven at the Kippax shops in Holt. CCTV footage shows the man approaching the staff members and threatening them with a knife, demanding they give him the cash from the till.
He placed a blue bag on the counter and staff complied with his request. The offender left the store and is believed to have fled in the direction of Pizza Hut.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 5’8” (173cm) tall and having a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with Puma written in large white print on the front and had the hood pulled over his head. He had black tracksuit pants on and had a white cloth covering his face.
Police urge anyone who may be able to assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
