ACT Policing is investigating an attempted aggravated robbery that occurred at the Pizza Hut store in Holt on Friday night (October 28).
Around 10.00pm, a man armed with a syringe entered the Pizza Hut store on Hardwick Crescent and approached the front counter. He threatened and demanded cash from an employee.
The employee refused to comply with the demands, and the man left the store. He was last seen driving away in a dark coloured Mitsubishi Magna towards Southern Cross Drive.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 175cm (5’9”) tall, with a solid build. He was wearing a blue hooded top, black balaclava and tracksuit pants.
Anyone who may have witnessed the attempted aggravated robbery, or saw a man matching the above description in the Holt area on Friday evening is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
