Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an aggravated break and enter in Queanbeyan West overnight.
About 10.10pm (Sunday 23 September 2012), three men forced their way into a home on Jordan Place.
Three adults and two young children were at home at the time.
Once inside the premises, the men assaulted a woman aged in her 30s by punching her in the face.
The men ransacked the home and made off with the woman’s handbag.
Police from Monaro Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The woman was taken to Queanbeyan District Hospital for treatment.
