A 33-year-old man will face court tomorrow on drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed on a house in Gowrie today (Tuesday, 29 May).
During the search warrant, members from ACT Policing’s Crime Targeting Team seized what is suspected to be a quantity of methamphetamine, as well as what is suspected to be cannabis plants and dried cannabis.
Police also seized several items suspected of being stolen property, including a motorcycle and approximately $5000 worth of tools. A homemade ‘taser’-type device was also seized.
The man was arrested at the end of the search warrant and was taken to the ACT Watch House, where he is expected to be charged with trafficking in a controlled drug.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 30 May), when police will be opposing bail.
