Canberra author and playwright Marya Glyn-Daniel has published a new book – ‘Hong Kong Lover’.

I attended its launch yesterday at Canberra’s leading ‘arts’ venue Teatro Vivaldi.

The raunchy book is set in Hong Kong against a backdrop of political chaos across Asia – Cultural Revolution in Mainland China and the Vietnam War etc.

The book is extremely titillating and the ‘vegetable episode’ is a must. I never realised that vegetables could be soooo erotic and exotic J

Marya also penned the book on the extraordinary Coralie Woods.

I think you are safe from the Durian as it’s a fruit – it’s the Bok Choy you have to worry about. The book certainly isn’t for the prudish.

I just hope it does not involve a Durian.

OK, I’m intriqued by the vegetable references… I might just have to track it down.
